On wearing Biden/Harris attire

My “Biden/Harris” hat (some say “cap”) pictured above is one of my proud purchases of 2020. I try to wear it every day while out and about. However, I see very few people wearing campaign or candidate attire of either party. Additionally, I am sensitive to situations where folks who MAy Go with Alternate candidates could get offended and/or upset by the hat. After all, I live in Florida, where conflicts often are settled with guns, not fists.

So, as a frequent hat wearer, when I ran a few errands today, I brought both the Biden/Harris hat and a plain blue hat along, expecting to switch between them depending on the situation. But a few minutes into my trip, at a stoplight, I saw a car drive by, fully bedecked in “Trump 2020” badging. Obviously, that driver wasn't concerned whom he offended or alienated. Needless to say, I rocked the Biden/Harris hat everywhere I went today. And I shared thumbs up and compliments in a parking lot with a man wearing a Biden/Harris t-shirt. Now I do not plan to remove that hat anytime soon.
